The Master of Science in Exercise and Nutrition Science prepares students to work in the sports industry, business, government and in education as practitioners on professional interdisciplinary teams. The program will help students seeking a strong foundation for further study and research including those pursuing a terminal degree. The program offers three entry points throughout the academic year (spring, summer and fall semester), and courses are scheduled to allow an efficient timeline to degree completion for full-time students. Students are provided experiential learning opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom. The program helps to prepare for certification exams including the Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and the Certified Exercise Physiology (ACSM) examinations.
